OBS.- Itxondo, Etxondo son compuestos vascos que significan junto a la(s) casa(s). Es frecuentísimo como nombre de parajes contiguos al caserío del pueblo. En Ochovi itxondo es genérico en uso en castellano, que designa el espacio contiguo a cada vivienda, cada casa tiene su itxondo: "el itxondo de Beltrán", "el itxondo del palacio".
